Custom Tattoo Design | Lower Half Sleeve

This design is inspired by symbolism & features an Ouroboros Snake,  Ayahuasca Vine & Tree of Life.

Ayahuasca is an entheogenic brew made out of Banisteriopsis Caapi vine and other ingredients. The brew is used as a traditional spiritual medicine in ceremonies among the indigenous peoples of the Amazon basin and is known by a number of different names.  In the Quechua languages, aya means "spirit, soul", "corpse, dead body", and waska means "rope" and "woody vine", "liana".The word ayahuasca has been variously translated as "liana of the soul", "liana of the dead", and "spirit liana".

Symbolism | The Ouroboros (Greek for tail devourer) is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. It has been important in religious, spiritual and mythological symbolism. It often represents renewals cycles of eternal change. The symbol is constantly re-creating itself, the cycle of life and death, and harmony of opposites. 

Symbolism | Trees are universal symbols of cosmic existence and the eternal cycle of life and death. This is a geometric tree often used within Sacred Geometry & spiritual (non religious) designs.

"The Tree of Life is a mystical symbol used in the Kabbalah & in Sacred Geometry.  

Kabbalist's believe the Tree of Life to be a diagrammatic representation of the process by which the Universe came into being and of mans place in the universe.  Its spheres contain 10 spiritual elements. 

From the bottom upwards; kingdom, element, splendor, eternity, glory, bravery, mercy, knowledge, sense, wisdom, crown) They represent the ten numbers and are connected by 22 paths (for 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet) They comprise the 32 paths of wisdom.The central column represents balance or equilibrium. The right column (Jachin) represents male energy and the left column (Boaz) represents female energy.
