This design is Japanese & geometry inspired.
The geometric koi fish is the main motif, swimming downwards.
The fish tail is shaped into a spiral, inspired by the Fibonacci spiral & nautilus shell.
The pattern is based on water bubbles, waves and flowing water, in a geometric style.
Note: The photographs are taken on a slight angle, for copyright purposes
| Symbolism | If the koi fish is swimming “up” the part of the body it has been placed on, the wearer may be trying to overcome a personal hardship. If the koi fish is swimming “down” the body, the wearer may have overcome the problem they were facing.
