The piece features a beetle (based on the Polyphylla Fullo, pine chafer) In our signature drawing style (a mix of geometry & organic lines, with fine lines and micro dots)
Male beetles possess an enlarged antennal "fan", which gives a distinctive appearance & and gave rise to the scientific name for the genus (Polyphylla = "many leaves”) The Polyphylla fullo is found in North Africa, Europe and the middle east. It inhabits sandy environments, such as the edge of a sunny pine forests, vineyards, or dunes.
