• Honeysuckle is the birth flower for the month of June.
• There are approximately 180 species of shrubs and vines known as honeysuckle.
• The honeysuckle flower has had many different meanings throughout history, today, it is predominantly viewed as a symbol of happiness & affection.
| SYMBOLISM |
• Honeysuckle flowers were first recognised by the Druids, with the Ogham, an ancient Celtic alphabet, carved into stones. It represented following your own path or bringing joy and happiness to life.
• There are many positive aspects to this little insect | Fireflies have the unique ability to produce bioluminescent light, which they use to attract mates or prey. This glowing light can be seen from miles away and serves as a beacon of attraction for other fireflies.
