LOCKDOWN
 

This original drawing was created as a thank you for a friend during lock down.
 

On 21st March,  I received a government letter to shield, having been identified as extremely vulnerable.

( Due to past chemotherapy & a lowered immune system,  due to Blood Cancer) 

That meant that for the duration of the 12 week lockdown, I was strongly advised to stay at home.

It has had it challenges, to say the least.  

One thing that has provided me with an increased sense of wellbeing & routine,  was to practise Yoga daily. 

So, this piece was created as a thank you to Becci from Bee Yoga for her daily youtube videos.

THE ART

The piece  features an early honey bee (Bee Apis mellifera European or-Western honey bee) 
 
 The bee is active in the spring and early summer. 
 
 The 4 flowers represent each month the flowers bloom, in the UK. March - Magnolia | April - Anemone | May - Sweet Pea |  June - Hydrangea | 

The drawing is small, you can see this from the scale of the pens. It was created in a 0.05 or 0.1 pen tip.
