TEST PRINT 3 Hellebore Etching

The plate is then inked with etching ink. The ink sits in the grooves, whilst the surface ink is wiped off. The ink is then drawn from the incised lines, onto dampened paper, using an etching press. 

Each print takes a long time to produce.

These highly detailed, intricate plates ensure each print is unique, making every piece a true one-of-a-kind etching.

I print in small editions, keeping the work precious and limited. 

This item is a test print. My usual 7 day return policy does not apply to Test Prints.  The piece is non refundable.

This piece is a test print. It is not part of the final edition. But it it just too nice to sit in a drawer! Test prints will vary from the final edition. This one is very similar. It may have imperfections on the print (Please refer to the photos or video)
