Pricing
We create our designs uniquely for you. We don’t follow a pricing structure. We quote depending on the amount of motifs or general complexity of your design & the time that will be dedicated to it.

Payments - Instant
The design is created from your brief but will not include feedback & changes. The cost can therefore be a little lower than a normal collaboration quote.

We aim to complete each collaborative design within 2-3 weeks (large) or 2 weeks (small & medium)

Download
Flash art files include the outline (stencil) shading (dots) presentation (social media sharing. Once you have purchased a flash design, you will automatically receive an email with the download link.

We take on small & large-scale commission work across all our formats. Get in touch to discuss your project.
COLOUR
Black & White
The tattoos are created in Black & White. We do not provide designs in full colour. 1 o2 2 highlight colours may be added in, once discussed. Colours would have self coloured outlines, not Black.

Payments - Collaborative
A 50% deposit is required before any collaborative design work is undertaken. Payment is through PayPal or bank transfer. The balance payment is paid upon completion of artwork.

I am the sole designer in this little studio; so you may encounter a wait list, so please take this into consideration.We advise you to allow 2 months (just in case!) Get in touch for urgent designs, we may be able to fit it in.

Exclusivity
The completed design will be exclusive to you. There is no danger of anyone else having your exact design.Clients are provided with a digital certificate of authenticity. This can be taken with you to a tattoo studio. Designs will never be replicated in their exact form. The design you approve is exclusive to you.

Customisation
We are happy to customise a flash design & can provide a quote. This may include; changing the size, combining more than one design together, changing a section of the design, adding or omitting an element, adding in a personal motif (Note; we don’t include text in our art)

If you have not purchased an item, please do not attempt to use any art across any of our formats (flash, custom, leather, art) without the permission of Punctured Artefact. This includes downloading for personal or professional use.

Techniques
The lines are created with one needle. A traditional tattoo machine & black ink is used to create the lines.

The hide is Spanish premium full grain Vegetable Tanned Leather. Environmentally friendly methods have been used in the tanning process.

We are based in the UK. In stock items will arrive between 3-10 days 10 days for outside UK). Commissions will be booked into the schedule & you will be advised of a delivery date, once the quote is accepted.
DELIVERY
Timings
All items are sent tracked or with signature required. This does increase the postage costs, but it does guarantee it will arrive. Please get in touch if you want a non tracked quote.

COLOUR
Options
The Punctured Artefact style is Black. We can sometimes accomodate requests for colour. The colour range is limited & often appears muted, due to it sitting inside the cut grooves of the needle.
TATTOOING LIVE
Policy
We do not provide a service whereby we tattoo at live events, shows or company launches.
TOOLING
Techniques
The leather may be tooled, embossed or burnished by hand. This creates texture across the surface & brings out the line art.
PATINA
Colour Changes
Our leather will go from a lovely pale tan to a richer darker shade, when placed in UV light. Avoid placing in direct sunlight or where shadows are cast.

Small leather art will be sent to you in a recycled box, with leather label & silk bow. Examples can be seen here

Products
The items in the shop are labelled as 'commission' or 'in stock'. Commission items may take up to 3-4 weeks to get to you, as they are made to order. In stock items may take 3 - 10 days depending (uk - rest of world)
